This painting captures the view from the Falcon Crag in Borrowdale in the Lake District. The painted scene captures vast views across towards Newlands, Keswick and Skiddaw.
The pale blues from the original map have been drawn out, and painted in a continual way to show the flow of the lakes between areas off the map and the painting.
I have incredible memories of completing my Duke of Edinburgh through the mountains of the Lake District, and loved trying to learn to sail here a number of years later.
The Original Painting has been captured using acrylic paint, using a map as my canvas. The Original Painting measures approx. 8.3" x 11.8" / 21 x 30 cm
, and is displayed in a white mount, paired with a glass fronted black frame*
The Print version is available in two sizes;
